PURPOSE:To enable formation of a gradation image such as a face photograph in a booklet extremely simply and rapidly using sublimation thermal transfer technique and thereby prevent occurrence of forgery and alternation effectively by transferring a dye-receptive layer to a mount in the booklet or binding a mount with a dye-receptive layer which receives sublimable dye in the booklet. CONSTITUTION:A booklet for image formation consists of more than one sheet of mount 3a, 3b, 3c bound in an area between a front cover 1 and a rear cover 2. At least, one part of the front cover 1, rear cover 2 or a mount has a dye- receptive layer which receives sublimable dye. A laminated sheet 3c for image protection is bound in the side where the dye-receptive layer of the mount 3b is provided. The laminated sheet 3c for image protection has a thermal adhesive layer on one surface of a highly transparent plastic sheet. The laminate, stacked on a formed image surface, is heated and pressed from the rear using a thermal head. Thus the laminated sheet can be transferred to the image surface for protection and at the same time, the forgery and alternation of the booklet can be prevented. |
