PURPOSE:To make effective use of affluent picture members by keeping the picture quality of the picture to be superimposed in the still picture with relation to the still picture. CONSTITUTION:In the still picture outputted from an HD still picture device 10, a window is provided on a still picture decoder 16. The brightness and the color temperature of this window is corrected and adjusted based on the correction indication of a display control part 20. A partial moving picture outputted from an NTSC partial moving picture device 12 is superimposed by an adding circuit 18 in this window. Thus, the brightness and the color temperature of the partial moving picture is improved by the influence of the window, and a picture without the sense of incongruity is displayed on a display device 28. |
