PURPOSE:To enable the closing operation of a linear expansion valve by means of a storage battery at every indoor unit and the cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:Electric power is supplied from an outdoor unit 10 to a first power circuit 3 of an indoor unit through a multiplex transmission line, and predetermined power is supplied from the first power circuit 3 to a microcomputer 1. Electric power of an indoor unit side source is supplied to a second power circuit 4 and to a fan 7 which is controlled by the microcomputer 1, predetermined power is supplied to relays which are controlled by the microcomputer 1, and further, a storage battery 9 which operates a linear expansion valve 2 is charged, whereby each linear expansion valve is operated by each storage battery of each indoor unit when power supply from the indoor unit side source is interrupted. Accordingly, power sources for electric energy for operating linear expansion valves of a plurality of indoor units are not necessary to be provided on the outdoor unit side, and a storage battery having electric energy to be required for operating the linear expansion valve of each indoor unit can work satisfactorily, thereby the cost reduction can be accomplished. |
