ELECTRONIC COMPONENT POSITIONER

PURPOSE:To provide an electronic component positioner which is used for positioning an electronic component at mounting and adapted to the mounting of an electronic component such as a QFP(Quad Flat Package) provided with soft leads. CONSTITUTION:An electronic component positioner of this design is provided with Y pawls 12 which are wider than an electronic component and so specified in closing sequence as to close earlier than X pawls 16, the Y pawls 12 are possessed of an irreducibly minimum spring force required for positioning an electronic component first, and the spring force of the X pawl 16 is set larger than that of the Y pawls 12.
