<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a slave one-chip microcomputer which runs on a RAM base with no use of a ROM and also can be freely programmed by a master microcomputer on a user target substrate. CONSTITUTION:A serial communication block 8 or a parallel communication block 9 is used as a 1st data transfer means that is required as a slave one-chip microcomputer. These blocks 8 and 9 are validated in a reset state and at the same time a 2nd data transfer means 13 provided newly completes the transfer of data which are stored in a data buffer of the block 8 received from the master microcomputer in the reset state to a prescribed area of a built-in RAM by an amount equal to the number of, necessary bytes enbloc and in sequence with no intervention of a CPU. When the reset state is canceled, a program starts at the head of a relevant write area.</p> |
