PURPOSE:To enable easy correction operation of faulty print data and make effective use of a journal sheet if faulty data is printed on the journal sheet. CONSTITUTION:When faulty data such as erroneous transaction specifications is printed at a printing position L of a journal sheet P, sheet feed rollers 22a, 22b are controlled by CPU and the journal sheet P is transported from a printing position L to a writing position W, thus making possible the print data correction operation, if the opening of a writing window 26 is detected by a switch 21. After that, if the closing of the writing window 26 is detected by the switch 21, the sheet feed rollers 22a, 22b are controlled by a CPU transport control device, and the journal sheet P is transported in such a manner that a next line to be printed arrives at the printing position L. |
