PURPOSE:To form density gradation by the difference in an ink amount and to obtain a printed image of high image quality by performing the printing due to the supply of a current using a form plate to which an image is formed using conductive patterns having different electric resistance values. CONSTITUTION:In a form plate 4, desired patterns 4A, 4B composed of conductive materials different in electric resistance and a desired pattern 4C composed of an insulating material are formed on a base material 40 composed of a conductive material such as a metal. The form plate 4 is mounted in a detachable manner so that the conductive pattern surface thereof is turned to the outside and rotated in the direction shown by an arrow B. Since a power supply 7 is connected between a plate roll 8 and an ink supply roll 6 with predetermined polarity, ink thick in the lower order of conductivity is bonded to the patterns of the form plate 4 to form an image. A platen cylinder 9 is rotated in the direction shown by an arrow C and receives the ink image of the form bed 4 on the plate roll 8 to transfer the ink image 12 to a material 11 to be recorded moving in the direction shown by an arrow G. |
