PURPOSE:To mount an air-conditioner in the vicinity of a ceiling without deteriorating the efficiency of piping work and to prevent the air-conditioner from falling, by providing such a means as an engagement recess, into which the outside piece of an engagement groove for an air-conditioner main body is fitted, is formed on the support arm of a mounting board fixed on a wall surface or the like. CONSTITUTION:An engagement groove 7 for an air-conditioner main body 1 is hung on a support arm 5 of a mounting board 2, and the title air conditioner is attached to a wall surface 3. After that, a support piece 8 for the air-conditioner main body 1 is detached from a holding piece 6 of the mounting board 2, and in this sate, the lower part of the air- conditioner main body 1 is made apart from the wall surface 3. As a result, an outside piece 7c of the engagement groove 7 placed on a flat part 15 of the support arm 5 is lowered toward an engagement recess 14 of the support arm 5, and thus a space B for piping-work can be obtained under the engagement recess 14. After a connecting pipe 10 is connected to an external pipe 12, the lower part of the air-conditioner main body 1 is replaced on the side of the wall surface 3, so that the outside piece 7c is released out of the engagement recess 14 and is lifted to the flat part 15, following which the support piece 8 is fastened on to the holding piece 6 with cap screws, and in this way, mounting work is finished. |
