PURPOSE:To obtain a counter which can update its count value in an optional order without causing any hazard. CONSTITUTION:The numbers 1, 2, 3... are stored in the addresses O, 1, 2... of a memory 110 respectively. An enable signal and a strobe signal to be applied to the memory 110 and a register 101 respectively are produced from the signals to be counted. Then these signals are counted. The contents of the memory 110 are properly corrected if the count value is updated in the sequences except that of 1, 2, 3.... |
