PURPOSE:To furnish the manufacturing method of a drum for manufacturing electrodeposition foil for manufacturing satisfactory electrodeposition metallic foil. CONSTITUTION:A groove part 14 to open toward the inside is formed on the inside of a joint part 13 of a cylindrical outer skin 12 made of a plate, this groove part 14 is welded from the inside, continuously, this weld zone 15 and the vicinity of the weld zone are extruded to the outside and cladding by welding is performed on an inside recessed part 17 formed by this extrusion while the exterior side being cooled. Continuously, warm or cold squeezing is executed on this clad part and continuously, the squeezed part 18 is subjected to annealing processing. When welding without a filler rod is adopted for this joint part 13, a more satisfactory effect can be obtained. |
