PURPOSE:To lessen the quantity of liquid scintillation consumed and obtain a liquid scintillation countrer without any need of vials. CONSTITUTION:A seperation cock 105 is set between a pump 107 for moving a liquid in a communicating tube 101 by the suction thereof up to a discharge cock 106 and a counting cell body part 104 in which scitillation is counted. While the scintillation is counted the use of the counting cell body 104 it is released from the influence of the pump 107 by the used of separation cock 105 to drain liquid stored in a reserving area 101N to the outside.
