PURPOSE:To prevent a lip of a glass run from going down by motion of a door glass to be inverted when the door glass is moved down as the lip is frozen to the door glass of the glass run for automobile. CONSTITUTION:The forward of a lip 41 on the car outer side is formed like a hook, and a rib 5 comprising an inclined guide surface 51 and a receiving surface 52 is protruded in an inner surface of a side wall 31 of a glass run facing it. When a door glass 6 to which the lip 41 is frozen is moved down to open, the forward end of the lip 41 is engaged with the receiving surface 52 of the rib 5, thereby the lip 41 can be prevented from going down to be inverted by motion of the door glass 6. |
