PURPOSE: To reduce cost and to improve safety at the time of a failure by providing a traction control device and a brake pressure reduction device effective at the time of the failure of a skid control device on a wheel brake in addition to the skid control device. CONSTITUTION: Valve systems 49, 56 for brake pressure adjustment arranged on brake conduits 43, 44 and a pump 65 to discharge a pressure medium excluded by wheel brakes 45, 46 to a brake conduit 42 are provided on a brake system 10. Check valves 78, 79 loaded by a spring are provided on a by-pass conduit 74 to be guided by the wheel brakes 45, 46 of a rear axle from the brake conduit 42, and a pump 65 to suck the pressure medium from a master cylinder 12 is connected to the by-pass conduit 74. Multidirectional change-over valves 75-70 are arranged on the pump inlet and outlet sides, and a multidirectional change-over valve 50 arranged on the brake conduits 43, 44 is at a blocking position in a state of no electric current. |
