<p>PURPOSE:To prevent burglary positively by providing a hard rotor rotatably between a cylinder and an operating shaft so as to impede cutting work in the case of the key hole of the cylinder being drilled by a drill and to maintain the engaged relation between a lock bar and a steering head pipe. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 56 is formed at the upper face of a journal part 35a spaced from the bottom face of the receiving recessed part 36 of a cylinder 20. The recessed part 56 is positioned on the extended line of a key hole 22, and a spherical rotor 57 made of hard metal material is rotatably installed at the opening part of the recessed part 56. When the blade tip of a drill D hits against the rotor 57 in the case of drilling the key hole 22 of the cylinder 20 by the drill D in the state of a front fork being locked by a lock bar 52, a slip is generated between the drill D and the rotor 57 so as to forbid further proceeding of cutting work by the drill D. The burglary of a vehicle can be thus prevented positively.</p> |
