PURPOSE: To provide apparatus and methods for spraying to prevent undesirable coating on the substrate. CONSTITUTION: Compressible material which will become a supercritical fluid is supplied from any suitable means such as by a pressure cylinder 9, heated by a heater 20, and then flow into a monifold 27. From mass flow meter 15, the compressible fluid is sent to needle valve 23 which restricts fluid flow, then through check valve 26 sent to a mixing manifold 27, combined with the said compressible materials there and mixed in a static mixer 28. Then the fluid is passed through a heated hose assembly 31 to a spray gun 32.
