Cheese indicator label application method - warms cheese surface, to 80 deg. C before applying fat-absorbing rice paper label

The method of label application to the surface of a cheese first warming the cheese surface to approx. 80 deg.C. When the heated surface area starts showing milk fat deposit, a label is then applied, after which the area is cooled. The treating method may be carried out with an infra-red light source using tunnel application. The labelling may be of rice paper.
