<p>PURPOSE:To detect standing high and low blood pressures by measuring the blood pressure of a subject while the subject stands up. CONSTITUTION:A subject squats and a pressure band connected to a sphygmonanometer is wrapped around the upper arm of the squating subject and then the body of the subject is at rest for a fixed time and the subject then stands up and the standing blood pressure of the subject is measured by the sphygmomanometer.</p> |
