This method is used in dental prostheses. It entails the use of pins, ensuring accurate, lasting and non-deformable imprint of the channels in the solid tooth tissues. They remain unchanged in a plaster environment, while their smooth polished surface facilitates their ejection and placement, with which the plaster preliminary model is protected from damage. The pins are included in the modelling, along with the modelling wax, by reinforcing the wax construction and protecting it from deformation. In the prepared channels, the pins are adjusted, after which a two-phase corrective imprint is taken and the preliminary model is cast. The pins are made of fully-burning thermoplastics and have a retentive head in its loose end. Together with the imprint, they are transferred onto the preliminary model, and are used in the modelling of the wax construction and its metal casting.
