<p>PURPOSE: To ease impact stresses between an armature and a housing. CONSTITUTION: A magnetically driven pressure control valve 10 has an electromagnetic coil 36 having a central passage extending axially through the coil. A moveable armature 18 is axially disposed in the passage of the electromagnetic coil 36 and magnetically attracted to a pole member 40 when the coil is energized. When the coil is not energized, the armature 18 is energized to a first position by an armature spring 20. A valve main body 16 is stationarily located in a valve housing and has two conduits 54, 56 therein. Movement of the armature 18 controls fluid flow within the two conduits 54, 56 to control fluid flow between a supply port 26 and a control port 28, and the control port 28 and an exhaust port 50. Wave spring washers 22, 23 are located at both ends of the armature 18 between the armature and the valve housing.</p> |
