<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electric fusion joint capable of preventing fallout of a resin pipe from the electric fusion joint, and of restricting the influence of faulty fusion to such degree that water leaks occur even when the fusion is defective. CONSTITUTION:The electric fusion joint is an electric fusion joint 1 in which a coil 3 which is heated by applying electricity is buried in a resin pipe body 2, groove parts 21 are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the resin pipe body 2, and diameter-reduction members 4 made of shape memory alloy, whose diameters are reduced by heat generating at the time of fusing, are provided in the groove parts 21.</p> |
