<p>PURPOSE:To display an image corresponding to the true size of a target regardless of the direction of the target with respect to a radar antenna. CONSTITUTION:When the image data of a target acquired by a radar antenna 1 are stored in an input image memory 4, an analogous target retrieving means 8 retrieves the analogous synthetic image data from a synthetic image memory 7 and sends the address to a target center calculating means 10 when the data exist. The target center calculating means 10 obtains the center position of the synthetic image data and the center position of the present image data, obtains the moving direction and distance based on the positional relationship, and obtains the true center coordinates of the present image data. A synthetic image calculating means 11 rotates the synthetic image data and synthesize the data with the present image data, automatically identifies the length and width of the target, and updates the synthetic image data, an output means 12 reads the updated synthetic image data and the symbol of the moving direction, and outputs them to an output image memory 5 and displays them on a display section.</p> |
