<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate occurrence of biting in a brake device equipped with a ball cam mechanism for pressing a brake plate by making a ball adhere to both inclined grooves by means of a spring when a hand brake is applied even if a rotary cam moves toward the segregation direction from a fixed cam through the ball. CONSTITUTION:When a foot brake is applied, a rotary cam 34 is rotated by means of a bar connected to a link cam mechanism connection hole 34b, moved toward the axis direction through a steel ball 33 in respective inclined grooves 32a, 34a, of a fixed cam 32 and the rotary cam 34 and moves a housing 35 for brake plate pressing to the left. A ring shaped plate 16 causes a plural pieces of brake plates 13 to be pressed against opponent plates 14 through a needle bearing 15, the friction force causing to stop the rotation of a ring shaped ring 12 inside the brake plate and the brake is applied to a speed reduction mechanism connected thereto by virtue of a gear 21. The galling phenomenon is prevent by making the ball 33 and both inclined grooves 32a, 34a to be adhered closely to each other by the action of a pressing spring 38.</p> |
