<p>PURPOSE:To prevent information from being lost due to momentary interruption due to the system changeover to a redundant system in the communication system having a redundancy system such as a broad band ISDN communication system by the ATM technology. CONSTITUTION:When a line set between a 1st broad band communication system 101 and 2nd broad band communication system 102 is switched to a 3rd broad band communication system 103, a means to establish a line for changeover destination and a means to store cells till the changeover processing is finished provided to a changeover device 104 are used. Thus, the periodic changeover of the redundant system is attained, generation of a fault of the changeover function of the redundant system or of the system is found out early and the system is operated stably.</p> |
