PURPOSE:To simplify the instructions for the switch of pages, the scroll of screens, etc., without starting any different menu in an input state of the document information by controlling the moving position of a cursor according to the input character data. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate data inputted through a data tablet 1 are once stored in an input buffer 3 via an input control part 2. The part 2 decides whether the relevant input data are identical, with the control, information obtained by picking an icon or the character information based on the input coordinate data. At the same time, the part 2 decides the using purpose of the input data based on the input coordinate data. Then the input data (coordinate data) decided as the control information are transferred to a format control part 4 and converted into a control command, for example, that is previously set in accordance with the coordinate area of the icon. Thus a word processor is totally controlled based on the control command that is given to the part 4. |
