PURPOSE:To obtain a structure in which deformation defect of light emitting unit patterns can be electrically detected and light horizontally emitted from the unit can be attenuated in an LED array chip to be used as an exposure light source (exposure head), etc., for an electrophotographic printer. CONSTITUTION:Inspecting diffused layers 5 disposed at predetermined intervals on peripheries of light emitting parts 2,..., and detecting electrodes 6 electrically insulated by an insulating film 3 from electrodes 4 of the units and electrically connected to the layers 5, are provided. |
