<p>PURPOSE:To separate sheets transported by a sheet feeding device, which is equipped with a separator pawl, one by one in good performance. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet feeding device 1, a sheet holder roller 9 to restrain the oversurface of each sheet P is provided in the middle of each side plate of a cassette body 1a. Thereby the uppermost surface of the sheets P is positioned by a separator pawl 7 and the sheet holder rollers 9 so that the angle theta to a level surface is set to the optimum separation angle to the separator pawl 7.</p> |
