<p>PURPOSE:To cool the exhaust gas exhausting from a waste incineration furnace to low temp. of <= about 200 deg.C incapable of generating the dangerous dioxin in the dust collector with very compact device and to remove an acidic halide in the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas exhausted from the garbage incinerator M and primarily cooled to about 300 deg.C is introduced into the pulverizer, as a secondary cooling treatment, the wetted powder Pw incorporating alkali powder and water are charged into the pulverizer and treated simultaneously with together to cool the pulverizer, to desired temp. of <= about 200 deg.C inaccordance with the drying of the above-mentioned powder and the acidic halide is allowed to react with an alkali to separate and remove this reaction product by a dry dust collector 5.</p> |
