<p>PURPOSE:To lessen the occupation area of the whole construction of an image forming device without impairing such merits of the straight path system as high accuracy in reading the document, unlikelihood of damaging the document, etc., and facilitate taking-out of each document sheet after reading. CONSTITUTION:Each document sheet P set on a sheet feed tray 2 is transported via a document sheet separating part 3, transport roller 4, sheet discharge roller 6, etc., and the contents of the document P under transportation are read by an image sensor 5. The document sheets are exhausted one by one to a sheet discharge tray 8 and accommodated. The discharge tray 8 arranged inside of the device body 1 can be inserted and taken out into/from the device body 1, and thereby the document sheet P on the discharge tray 8 can be simply taken out after the discharge tray 8 is once drawn out to outside the device body 1.</p> |
