PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic and electric discharge recording material having a discharge recording layer which, simultaneously with magnetic recording, is capable of recording its information as a clearly visible image and a prepaid card using the magnetic and electric discharge recording material. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic and electric discharge recording material having the laminate consisting of a magnetic substance layer, a barrier layer, a colored layer, a thin metal film layer and a protective layer built up on a base material layer in that order for use in the making of a prepaid card, the magnetic discharge recording material comprising a base material layer constituted of PET film, a magnetic coating liquid containing magnetic powder BaO-6Fe2O3 coated thereon, a barrier layer consisting of methylmethacrylate, a colored layer containing carbon black, aluminum metallized in a thickness of 600Angstrom and a protective coated layer consistof acrylurethane UV resin built up on the magnetic coating liquid in that order. |
