PURPOSE:To increase water absorption enhance adherence between a base sheet and a water-absorptive coating layer by forming the water-absorptive coating layer including a specific resin binder and water-insoluble, water absorptive resin powder on the base sheet. CONSTITUTION:A water-absorptive tape consists of a base tape 1 and a water- absorptive coating layer 2 formed thereon and including a resin binder and water-insoluble, water-absorptive resin powder. In this case, the main component of the resin binder is a copolymer of acrylic ester or ester methacrylate and a hydrophilic monomer, or is composed of a copolymer consisting of acrylic ester or ester methacrylate, a hydrophilic monomer and a styrenic monomer. This copoymer has a hydrophilic group as a component of the hydrophilic monomer. Accordingly, the water-absorptive coatig layer 2 has wettability. |
