PURPOSE:To prevent the call loss by reassigning the channel, which is assigned to a second mobile station, which continues speaking for a preliminarily determined time or longer in a cell, to a first mobile station in the case of the absence of idle channels. CONSTITUTION:If a base station 22 has no idle channels, a control station 3 refers to a timer 6 to detect the mobile station which continues speaking for the longest time out of mobile stations using the channels of a base station 21. When this mobile station continues speaking for the preliminarily determined time or longer, speaking of this mobile station is terminated, and the base station 22 is instructed to assign the channel, which this mobile station uses till then, to a mobile station 1. Switching to this channel in the base station 22 is indicated to the mobile station 1 through the base station 21, and speaking between the base station 22 and the mobile station 1 is continued. If the preliminarily determined time is set to about 3 minutes, the call loss or a failure of hand-off is prevented. |
