摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To maintain vertical resolution for a moving picture by performing interpolation from a precedent or following field in response to an image having quick motion as long as there is a correlation between fields even if there is no correlation between frames. CONSTITUTION:An OH signal 101 and a 525H signal 104 which are delayed in respective memories are inputted to and added by an adder 8, inputted to and halved by a coefficient multiplier 10, and inputted to an interpolation signal selecting circuit 5. A 262H signal 102 and a 263H signal 103 are inputted to and added by an adder 9, halved by a coefficient multiplier 11, and inputted to the circuit 5. Further, an OH signal 101 and a 525H signal 104 are inputted directly to the circuit 5. The circuit 5 selects one of the four input signals according to the output signal 114 from a motion detecting circuit 6 and outputs it as an interpolation signal. This output interpolation signal 108 is inputted to a switch circuit 7. The switch circuit 7 inputs the output signal 102 of a field memory 1 as a real scanning line signal after delay phase compensation 4. The switch circuit 7 outputs the inputted interpolation signal and real scanning line signal alternately.</p>
