TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTE WATER

PURPOSE:To provide the method for treating org. waste water which can wash the filter cloth of a dehydrating machine without adding excess fresh water in a system for treating the org. waste water. CONSTITUTION:The activated sludge in a biological treating tank 1 is subjected to a solid-liquid sepn. by a membrane separator 3 and the filter cloth of the dehydrating machine is washed by the membrane-treated water permeated through the membrane as washing water. The waste water of the washing is subjected to a solid-liquid sepn. by a flocculating and separating device 12. The membrane-treated water permeated through the membrane separator is used as the washing water of the filter cloth of the dehydrating machine and this waste water of the washing is supplied to the flocculating and separating device, by which the washing of the filter cloth of the dehydrating machine is executed without entailing the inflow of the fresh water into the system. The clean treated water which is heretofore used as the washing water is saved and the increase in the size of the membrane separator 3 is suppressed, by which the initial cost is reduced. The clogging of washing nozzles is prevented by using the membrane-treated water as the washing water.
