The subject of the present invention is an improved domestic-water flushing system making it possible to make savings in flushing water. It is constituted by the combination, firstly of a floating piston (1) prolonged at its upper part by a hollow tube (6) including a collar (annular enlarged region) (8), forming an internal groove into which may be clicked into place either an elastic component rigidly attached to a pull device, or the likewise elastic upper ring of a cylindrical sleeve, next of a hollow rod (13) passing through the said floating piston from the top to the bottom, in which hollow rod may slide a spindle (17) actuated by a push button (5) and acting on an articulated cam (16) passing through a lateral window of the abovementioned sleeve and capable of bringing about the rise or the fall of the floating piston, and, finally, of a bell (2) equipped with a calibrated nozzle enabling a certain quantity of water to penetrate into this bell, thereby bringing about the fall of the floating piston before complete draining of the reservoir. It is intended to equip cavity-flow flushing reservoirs, irrespective of their type, and is integrated into the WC bowl or is independent. <IMAGE>
