PURPOSE:To allow the stable and uniform lamination of a toner in >=2 layers on a developer carrying member and to suppress the filming by using the toner contg. a charge control agent consisting of a specific boron compd. CONSTITUTION:The toner which consists of at least a binder resin and a coloring agent and contains the charge control agent consisting of the boron compd. expressed by formula I or/and formula II is used. In the formulas I, II, R<1> denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, halogen atom or arom. ring (including a condensed ring). R<2> denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group or halogen atom; k to n denote 1 to 4 integer. X<1> denotes O, S, SO3, SO2NR<3> or NR<3>. X<2> is expressed by formula III. Y<1> and Y<2> denote O, S or NR<3>. R<3> denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group. Z<+> denotes cation. |
