CONJUGATE FIBER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR TREATING FABRIC USING THE SAME FIBER

PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber assembly capable of providing a fiber assembly, composed of conjugate filament and conjugate staple having natural unevenness and plant and soft hand dose to those of natural fiber by subjecting the conjugate fiber to weight reduction processing with an alkali under conditions within specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:An assembly of conjugate fiber which is an assembly of the conjugate fiber composed of two kinds of polymers of a specific readily alkali- soluble polyester component and a sparingly alkali-soluble polyester component. The conjugate shape thereof is substantially same in the longitudinal direction, but varies between fibers as shown in the right figures.
