<p>PURPOSE:To enable optimum drive energy to be established in the case of printing of character or the like, in printing of gradation expression, and in printing of high duty printing. CONSTITUTION:A data in an N line buffer 31 is operated by a bogical expression to which a logic operation circuit 35 is set and is outputted as an actual printing data signal 37. The actual printing data signal 37 is composed of that for printing on a basic luster line and that for printing on an additional luster line, and is compared with a dot pattern of which a luster data is defined. In the case of those in gradation expression or in high duty printing, a dot on the basic luster line is appropriately deleted or converted, and the dot is added onto the additional luster line. Driving time when the dot is printed on the basic luster line and on the additional luster line is independently established. Optimum driving time is established respectively for both printing of a character, a line, etc., and printing of gradation expression. Further, a part at which a non-printed part comes in contact with a printed part can be made distict.</p> |
