PURPOSE:To prevent degradation in characteristic in the lapse of time without detracting from an advantage of magneto-optical recording layer consisting of an alternately laminated film with rare earth metal film and transition metal film, and an alternately laminated film with two kind of rare earth metal- transition metal alloy film. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer 3 exhibiting a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy is composed of the alternately laminated film with transition metal layer 3a and the rare earth metal layer 3b or the alternately laminated film with two kind of rare metal-transition metal alloy film, and and each layer contains at least one kind of 1-10atom% noble metal (Au, Pt, Ag, Pd). |
