PURPOSE:To obtain a powdery polymer composition capable of imparting excellent fusion preventive effects on the powdery polymer composition itself, excellent in redispersibility and useful as an admixture for cement-based compositions, an adhesive or resin modifier, etc., and provide a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION:A powdery polymer composition contains 30-99.5wt.% polymer powder, obtained by carrying out emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer and drying the resultant polymer and having -40 to +40 deg.C glass transition temperature and 0.5-70wt.% polymer powder, prepared by performing emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer and drying the obtained polymer and having >+40 deg.C glass transition temperature. |
