Boiler air temp. regulation system - reduces exhaust heat after air pre heater and delivers to air

The system regulates combustion air temperature in a boiler fired by pulverised coal, using an exhaust-heated air pre-heater. The amt. of heat in the exhaust, after the pre-heater(1) is reduced while maintaining the efficiency of the latter. The heat-difference is delivered to the combustion air in the form of vaporisation heat after the pre-heater. This can be done in the form of superheating heat raising the air temperature after the pre-heater. There can be a heat-exchanger(4) in the exhaust after the pre-heater, connected by pipe to a further one(5) before the pre-heater. A distributor pipe(15) is connected to the air outlet(9) from the pre-heater, as is the outlet from the second exchanger. ADVANTAGE - Increases speed of combustion air without reducing pre-heater output.
