Shuttering panel for curved concrete wall - has rear steel tightening strips passing through slots in ribs

The shuttering panel is for use at the inside of a curved concrete wall, e.g. in a round vessel. It comprises a rectangular metal plate (10) with connectors at the free edges to similar plates. This is of flat steel bending for a limited amt., and with evenly-spaced vertical ribs (11) resistant to bending loads on the side furthest from the concrete. Evenly-spaced steel tightening strips (12) run parallel to the panel at the rear side, being solidly fixed at one end to one panel edge, and coupled via tightening mechanisms (14) to the other edge. The strips pass through guide slots in the ribs, and between the latter support spacers (15) bearing loose against the panel rear surface. ADVANTAGE - Rapid installation and removal, high stability at all diameters.
