Earth sample extractor using probe with cylindrical pipe sleeve - having handling section at top and exchangeable tip at base

The handling section at the top is manipulated for driving the pipe sleeve into the ground. The pipe sleeve provides a reception space for an earth sample. This space extends below into a cylindrical/through-passage channel leading to a spike releasably fitted to the base of the pipe sleeve. At least one measurement value pick-up (110) is installed on the probe (1) for registering earth condition parameters. This pick-up is pref. installed on the outer circumference of the probe. The latter is releasably fitted to the handling section (4) by means of a fixing section connectable to a linked sleeve (25). A pressure cell (110) is installed either in the region of this fixing section or on the pipe sleeve itself. USE/ADVANTAGE - Registration of at least the most important ground condition parameters, e.g. firmness, density, moisture content, pH value, nitrogen concn, temp., is possible in-situ.
