摘要 The bearing bushes are produced complete from laminated strip by transfer through a series of adjoining work stations, including a final deburring operation, in an integrated work cycle. The production machine has a bending station (3), a ring tool (4), sizing station (5), groove broaching station (6), rotary indexing plate (7) and deburring station (8). Passing through the stations is a transfer mandrel (10). At the bending station strip is fed in and wrapped round the mandrel. Each forward stroke of the mandrel feeds formed bushes stage-by-stage through the succeeding operations, into the broaching station, and into a pocket (17) of the indexing plate; each return stroke pulls the broaching tool through the bush to produce the grooves. Then the indexing plate can transfer the grooved bush to the deburring station. The next forward stroke ejects a deburred bush from a pocket and replaces it with a newly grooved bush. ADVANTAGE - Greater economy of production of high quality bearingbushes.
