SOUND IMAGE CONTROLLER

摘要

PURPOSE:To allow a listener to perceive a same sound image location as that of an original sound field and to obtain the presence as the original sound field by giving a desired acoustic signal to both ears of the listener. CONSTITUTION:A signal given to a right ear 13R of a listener 12 is fed to S sets (S is an integer being 3 or over) of speakers such as 151-153 provided to a reproduction sound field 17 while being processed by S sets of filters such as 141-143 and a signal given to a left ear 13L of the listener 12 is fed to the speakers while being processed by S sets of filters such as 161-163. Each filter coefficient of each filter group is set by a setting device 18 and the coefficient is set so that a transfer function of each filter satisfies a prescribed equation.
