PURPOSE:To obtain a new, small and light deflecting element which provides deflecting ability on the surface itself of the reflection plane to enable the deflection by the slide operation of a reflection type deflecting plate and improve the deflection property. CONSTITUTION:A board 1 has the reflection plane 2 formed on the upper face, on which a preset-thickness refraction factor distribution layer 3 formed with the refraction factor distribution varied in refraction factor to one axial direction is provided. The refraction factor distribution of the refraction factor distribution layer 3 thus provides periodical changes. |
