PURPOSE:To enable the artificial marble product excellent in transparency and dense feeling to be effectively produced by heading and pressurizing molding method, while the addition of shrinkage-reducing agent is unnecessary by a method in which when the composition of unsaturated polyester resin is molded under heating and pressurizing, the surface of a mold is coated with mold release agent and polymerization-inhibitor, or said agent, etc., are stuck to said surface, and then said composition is molded under heating and pressurizing. CONSTITUTION:The mold release agent-die free-MS-743 to which polymerization- inhibitor (p-benzoquinone) of 3% is added, is sprayed on the whole front surface of the bottom force which becomes the rear surface of a molded object. Immediately thereafter, the composition of cured unsaturated polyester resin is charged and is molded under the condition of the molding temperature of 135 deg.C, the molding pressure of 100kgf/cm<2> and the molding time of 7 minutes. Consequently, the molded object which is excellent in beauty, transparency and dense feeling, and has the longitudinal dimension of about 300mm, the transverse dimension of about 300mm, the height-dimension of about 150mm and the thickness- dimension of about 6mm, and contains no cracks, is obtained. |
