The electronic balance has a digital display of the weighing result in which at least the last number (13) in the result is visually distinguised from the others by a border (7). The border can consist of a broken line, a continuous line or a zig-zag line open at the corners. The border can be electronically controlled so as to be switched on and off. The number in the border and the border can be shown in inverse video. Several controllable borders can be used.
