Use of extract soln. for treatment of vitiligo - prepd. from thuja and juniper spirit

The use of an extract soln. consisting of (a) 5-30 wt. pts. thuja, cut from the shrub, and (b) 95-70 wt. pts. juniper spirit, obtained by (i) material-ion for several days, followed by (ii) filtration in the prepn. of a medicament for treatment of vitiligo (lencoderma), is new. The juniper spirit is gin with a 40 vol. % alcohol content. The soln. may be administered orally or externally, e.g, as a cream or lotion. For oral admin. . The thuja is cut at midday and the resulting soln. is mixed with a soln. contg. lycopns juice (20-70 wt. %) and carbonic acid-deficient mineral water (80-30 wt. %) For external admin. the thuja is cut in the evening or at night and the resulting soln. is mixed with silica gel and small amts. of white wine vinegar. ADVANTAGE - The soln. is more effective and cheaper to prepare than previous medicaments.
