In room-air treating equipment with at least one fan part (1) having a fan (2) and, separating the suction side and pressure side of said fan from one another, a pressure wall (8), and with, provided in the region of both sides of the pressure wall (8), pressure sensors (14, 15) which are connected to a manometer device (16), a simple and accurate control of an operating variable can be achieved in that the manometer device (16) is connected to one measured quantity input (19) of a calculating unit (17) which has a plurality of measured quantity inputs (19, 20, 22, 24, 26), of which at least one is connected to a temperature sensor (28) and one to an atmospheric pressure sensor (25), and by means of which unit an actual value can be determined from the measured quantities which can be fed in, the value can be compared with a predefinable set value and a control value can be determined from the deviation, which control value is available at a control value output (32) connected to a speed control (33) assigned to the fan drive device.
