PURPOSE:To execute preferential conversion to the word of temporarily stored combination in the case of conversion to a sentence mixing KANJI (Chinese characters) and KANA (Japanese syllabary) and to execute batch registration as the word, which can be preferentially converted to KANJI, when this word is used more than times decided in advance. CONSTITUTION:A combination analysis part 7 analyzes the combining relation of converted words for inputs and when the word of the combining relation temporarily stored in a storage buffer 8 is used more than times decided in advance in the case of KANA/KANJI conversion, it is judged as the combining relation of words important for the meaning of the sentence. Then, a KANJI string is stored in an important combination buffer 10 while being combined with reading. This number of times can be arbitrarily set by an input part 1. When batch word registration is instructed from the input part 1, the KANJI string and the KANA stored in the important combination buffer 10 are combined and outputted to an output part 3. |
